Once a month I offer a Saturday morning workshop in Manhattan. 10am-12:30pm at 40 Exchange Place, down by Wall Street. These are writing studios where writing definitely happens. You will take home a good deal of fresh writing plus the momentum and enthusiasm to keep going. See AuthenticWriting.com for dates.
What This Blog's About
I write memoir. I'm also co-director of Authentic Writing, a program of writing workshops that supports writers who want to write directly from their life without consulting anyone first. I'm also a co-founder of the Wodstock Memoir Festival. I wrote The Guru Looked Good and The Imposters. I post my current writing at Experiments in Memoir. So I think about memoir and what writing is about and I wanted a place to let you know what I think. Maybe it'll spark some back and forth. That'd be interesting.
